Gabe Lehrer is a classically trained guitarist turned singer/songwriter based in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area!

Lehrer studied classical guitar with Michael Lich, a well-known performer, from ages 3-18. He also began writing songs at the age of 13. Typically based on unique guitar arrangements, his songs blend folk and pop in a novel way. In January 2015, he took 1st place at the Tucson Desert Song Festival Songwriting Competition.

Gabe Lehrer released his debut self-produced album, Cuban Chevy, in April 2016. His next album, Small Open Spaces, is expected in late 2020. Lehrer also runs a small business as an audio engineer — he has produced recordings professionally for a variety of clients over the last five years.

In addition to performing as a solo artist, Lehrer is the guitarist and second vocalist for Brake for Snakes, a four-piece indie jam band based in Tempe, Arizona. Check out Brake for Snakes on Instagram: @brakeforsnakesband

Gabe Lehrer is a musical agent for change, having produced a number of benefit concerts in the last decade. In total, these performances raised close to $20,000 for charitable causes ranging from refugee relief to Rett Syndrome research. Lehrer plans to continue using music as a tool for positive change after completing his undergraduate degree in Music Therapy at Arizona State University next May.
